Lettera dalla Cina sul Tibet
It's very hard to know which part is right by media (both western and chinese).my opinion is, donnot judge only by one part of media.
Here are two articles:
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/11/opinion/11zizek.html?_r=3&oref=slogin&oref=slogin&oref=slogin
http://www.michaelparenti.org/Tibet.html
in this article, pay attention here "...the problem with Tibetan Buddhism resides in an obvious fact thatmany Western enthusiasts conveniently forget: the traditionalpolitical structure of Tibet is theocracy, with the Dalai Lama at thecenter. He unites religious and secular power - so when we are talkingabout the reincarnation of the Dalai Lama, we are taking aboutchoosing a head of state. It is strange to hear self-describeddemocracy advocates who denounce Chinese persecution of followers ofthe Dalai Lama - a non-democratically elected leader if there ever wasone".
The only opinion I want to express is that everything must be based onfacts, not media.
Thanks,best regards,
Zhen Chen
